Start with a blank slate or load an existing .muse project. Musebound preserves your exact layer configuration and history between sessions via local persistence and cloud saves.
Manual Creation
Laying the foundation. Use professional-grade brushes to sketch your subjects, environments, and compositions. We recommend separating large elements (Background, Midground, Subject) into distinct layers early on.

AI Collaboration
Invoke the Muse. When you hit a creative block or need to accelerate repetitive tasks (like rendering detailed textures or filling backgrounds), use the AI Panel. Describe your vision, and the Muse will generate preview options on your active layer.
Pro Tip: Targeted Refinement
Select a small area with the selection tool before invoking the Muse to ensure generated content perfectly aligns with your character's silhouette.
Final Polish & Export
Refine the AI's suggestions manually, merge layers, and apply final color adjustments. Export your work as a high-resolution PNG for hosting, or share the entire project timeline with the Musebound community.
